I was so taken by this exhibition at the Blue Star Contemporary Art Center. The giant balls of twine are made of recycled newspaper and advertisements by Italian Artist Ivano Vitali. I am so excited about my new art pottery by Lisa Belsky. Her work is so beautiful. I see Art Nouveau sensuality given an approachable and earthy mid-century biomorphic freedom. The soft, muted colors make them irresistable to touch. The three pieces I chose all complement each other in form and color.
This is gonna be a great show!
