The show is only days away and I have so many pieces to finish! I do this before every art show, only more so for the Gold Coast. I decide that I don’t have enough work and then cocoon myself in the studio for about 2 weeks prior. The problem is that I never want to stop! I have so many ideas flowing through me, it feels so good. Got to put on the brakes for design and begin the hard work of grinding, sanding, and polishing. Here is a sneak peak from my work bench.

From left to right, you can see my new line of flower jewelry emerge, from the wax models on the left to the rough sterling silver castings on the right. In the chaotic background of my bench, in the last 3 photos there is a small mountain of rings waiting to be finished. Now, back to work!

I’m very excited about the Gold Coast art festival. Windy City Live was providing some details on it today. Check it out http://bit.ly/oVQSII . Be sure to “like” the page and tweet it as well so you can share it with others
